I enjoyed the first novel in this series, but this one really failed to deliver. There were just too many gaping plot holes. How did Bobbi, a forensic accountant, have experience as a secret agent? Why did she speak Russian and know how to use a gun? What was the backstory with her ex-husband? We are told it was a mistake, but jeez, a failed marriage is a major milestone in one's life, so having no mention of it weakened Bobbi's character. I liked Nikolai a lot, he was a doll, but that couldn't make up for the plot problems

Of the first 3 books, this was definitely my favorite! Nikolai and Bobbi are great together and the story is not your everyday romance. Will definitely read future books in this series!
I wasn't sure about where this book was going to take me, but the mix of romance, hockey and mystery had me feverishly turning pages from the start.
Good love story, well developed characters, and believable story,tense, and enjoyable read.I recommend it to those who misshapen novels. Enjoy!!!
I'm hooked on this series... this one especially with all the twist and turns... trying to figure out "who" was the bad guy!!! On to the next boo!
I enjoyed the book, but thought it was a little far fetched. I have read just about every hockey romance out there, and this book tackles a topic that no one else has, so the author gets points for originality. I enjoyed her writing style and I will continue to read the series because I like hockey romances.
This was a great book. It has a hot Russian hockey player, lots of drama and the heroine is an accountant! This is such a fun series. Each hockey book offers something different and this one was no exception. It was a very suspenseful novel full of plot twists and interesting characters. Every book in the series that I've read has been fantastic!
Book 1 of the series... Was a solid story and I thought the second book of the series would build on it...
